A Web site, text messages and word-of-mouth rumors warning patrons to avoid Wal-Mart or risk becoming the shooting victim of a gang initiation appear to be a hoax, Brevard County sheriff’s deputies said. Local police agencies across Brevard began receiving calls about the rumor this afternoon, spokesman Maj. Greg Purden said. The rumor seems to have “spread like wildfire,” he said.
“As far as we know, this is a ghost message,” said Purden. “At this time, it doesn’t seem to be credible, but we are on the alert for any suspicious activity and we are following up on any leads we might get.”
Purden said the sheriff’s office issued an alert to all agencies to be aware and keep an eye out while they continue to investigate. Eurovision Louis Vuitton Shopper Taveller, Natasha Richardson Autopsy, Dr. Manhattan Blue naked nude photos from watchmen movie,WalMart gang initiation threat
"The International," short for the fictional International Bank of Business and Credit, may be the first movie named after a financial institution since 1934's "House of Rothschild." That such a film should come out now is simultaneously fortunate and unfortunate.
With banks and banking on everyone's mind, it could be a great thing to have a film in which just such an institution is portrayed as malevolence personified, an all-powerful, all-knowing organization that's got everything wired for evildoers all over the world.
On the other hand, banks have been revealed to be so inept, so incapable of managing their own finances, let alone the world's, that having them as villains at this point in time is rather like expecting Superman to be your hero and having Clark Kent show up instead.

What began as an unorthodox pairing of the golden-tressed singer for Led Zeppelin with bluegrass chanteuse Alison Krauss captured five Grammys on Sunday, including album of the year for their country-inflected collaboration "Raising Sand." The duo also won record of the year for "Please Read the Letter."
Music Row insiders expect others to follow Plant's lead.
"I'm sure a lot of people will look at the idea of Nashville collaborations in a different light," said Brian Philips, general manager of Country Music Television.
"Surely, Robert Plant did not feel compromised coming to Nashville. He felt energized," remarked Mike Dungan, president of Capitol Records Nashville.
The last country projects to win the Grammy's top album award were the Dixie Chicks' "Taking the Long Way" in 2006 and the "O, Brother, Where Art Thou?" movie soundtrack in 2001. There's a reason there's no swimsuit competition on "American Idol." And Katrina "Bikini Girl" Darrell learned that lesson the hard way Wednesday night, when she was unceremoniously dumped from the second round of Hollywood Week after crashing and burning during the group round.
Despite the fawning attention of judges Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson — tempered by harsh looks and comments from judge Kara DioGuardi — Darrell's charm offensive failed to win over the panel Wednesday. She also didn't get much love from the group of three female singers she performed with on the show, who were put off by her icy diva-ish demeanor (they did, however, adopt the name Team Diva) and shocked when she called it a day and went to bed in the midst of intense rehearsals. The next morning, she refused to get out of bed when her teammates showed up to rouse her, claiming she was too sick Michael Graves coffee maker, Madoff Client List, Etta James Beyonce
It was a bittersweet moment for Brad Pitt, walking through the Lower 9th Ward neighborhood where families were preparing to spend their first holidays since Hurricane Katrina.
Those families are moving into the first six houses built through Pitt's Make It Right foundation. One home was already strewn with green garland, lights, wreaths and red bows.
Still, Pitt is restless.
"I'm really happy for the families that are going to be here, but I can't help but think about the families that aren't," Pitt said Monday. "It's a push-pull for me. The excitement is that it's being proven, that it's working. The frustration is that we have a long way to go."
Make It Right was launched by Pitt a year ago. The program calls for construction of 150 energy-efficient homes in a section of New Orleans washed away when Katrina broke levees Aug. 29, 2005. cordelia bad girls club, Paris Hilton my new BFF, Miley Cyrus Vanity Fair photo

I Was rooting for her!!!! Brooke Burke waltzed away with the mirror ball trophy on the "Dancing with the Stars" finale.
The 37-year-old TV personality and mother of four dominated the seventh season of the popular ABC dancing competition and bested former NFL player Warren Sapp and former 'NSync member Lance Bass during the Tuesday night finale, in which she reprised an emotional Viennese waltz routine that earned her a perfect score from the show's panel of judges.
"Unbelievable," was all Burke could muster after winning amid a flurry a confetti.
From the outset, the slinky former host of E!'s "Wild On" and CBS' "Rock Star" commanded the ballroom this season, coming in first place eight out of 10 times and receiving a 10 — the judges' top score — 16 times. Burke was crowned the latest "Dancing with the Stars" champion after the judges' scores — 88 out of 90 — were combined with viewers' votes.Britney Spears Rolling Stone Cover, On Prince William Penis expose, Shane Mercado Does Beyonce Single Ladies
Fashion designer Tom Ford is getting the cast in place for his long-awaited move into movies.
Colin Firth, Julianne Moore and Matthew Goode are set to star in "A Single Man," Ford's adaptation of a Christopher Isherwood novel.
Published in 1964, the novel centers on a gay man who, after the sudden death of his partner, is determined to persist in his usual routine, which is seen in the span of a single, ordinary day in southern California.
Firth is the gay man, an Englishman and professor who feels like an outsider in Los Angeles. Goode is the boyfriend who dies in a car accident and appears in flashbacks. Moore plays a friend of the professor.
Ford, who was recently ranked 12th in a list of the 49 men who most influenced the way other men thought, behaved and shopped, adapted the screenplay for the independently financed project with David Scearce.
Ford rose to the top of the fashion world with a 10-year run at Gucci, a period that turned around the fortunes of the Italian fashion house owned by France's PPR. Is there going to be a Princess Diaries 3, Prince George Phone Book, Is Prince Harry Gay, Maple private server

Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother killed. This is really a sad story..The mother and brother of Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson were found shot to death in the mother's Chicago home on Friday, according to published reports.
The Chicago Tribune Web site quoted a police source as saying the suspect in the double homicide was in custody, but a 7-year-old boy, possibly Hudson's nephew, was still missing from the house on Chicago's South Side, where the victims were found. Police did not confirm the report or the names of the victims.
The Tribune said the Cook County Medical Examiner's office identified the victims as Hudson's mother, Darnell Donnerson, 57, and her brother Jason Hudson, 29.
Police said neighbors reported hearing shots in the area during the morning, but the bodies were not found until midafternoon.
"A missing child was possibly abducted from the scene ... and may be in the company of William Balfour, a suspect in the double homicide investigation," police said in a statement, adding that the man was "considered armed and dangerous."
